About the role:

As a member of the Executive Management team, you will have day-to-day responsibilities for planning, implementing and controlling all financial-related activities of the company. You will direct and oversee areas and initiatives related to finance (incl. accounting, reporting, forecasting, treasury) and tax, strategic planning, merger and acquisition analysis incl. leading Due-to-Diligence process, execution and negotiations.

Additionally, you will oversee and drive themes like post-merger integration, development of structure & optimization of processes, negotiations of commercial deals and SLAs. - You can be based in Berlin or Hamburg.


What you'll achieve:

  • As CFO you’ll establish an entrepreneurial driven and SaaS-KPI based financial framework that enables finreach solutions to achieve its pan-European growth plans.

  • Providing financial models regarding the floor price and different pricing options for the SaaS

  • Create suitable financial business unit views over complex product platforms and for multiple countries

  • You will play an active role in future series-x finance rounds & pitches.

  • Additionally you will take care of aligning & negotiating with key clients.

  • You show strong leadership in the planning, development and continuous evaluation of short and long-term financial and operational objectives.

  • Development of data-driven recommendations to enhance the company’s overall performance, business opportunities and financial strategies and advise to Executive Management on the financial implications of business activities, potential mergers and acquisitions as well as post-merger-integration

  • Direct and oversee all aspects of the finance and accounting functions of the organization; provide a timely and accurate analysis of budgets, financial results, investment and financing activities, trends and forecasts to all relevant stakeholders.

  • Ensure effective financial controls are in place and in compliance with applicable regulatory laws and rules for financial and tax reporting.

  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with all relevant stakeholders to identify their needs.

  • Lead and develop a team on site.

Requirements

What you'll need to be successful:

  • A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance; MBA and/or any other additional degree are highly desirable.

  • Solid experience on Financial Controlling and IFRS reporting standards.

  • 10+ years in progressively responsible financial leadership roles, preferably in accounting within a Big Four or any other professional services organization. Prior work in a fast scaling firm would help you succeed.

  • Your track record displays excellent problem solving and analysis skills as well as finance/accounting credibility and expertise.

  • Demonstrated superior personnel development and coaching ability.

  • You are very well-versed in stakeholder management on diverse levels; bring strong business acumen and impress through highly effective communication and negotiation skills.

  • Fluent in English; Fluency in German would set you apart from others.

  • Excellent project management skills round up your profile

  • To ensure that you can hit the ground running and help finreach solutions grow successfully, it’s a plus if your past career had equipped you with extensive knowledge in the following areas: M&A, fundraising and post-merger integrations
